Property Management:

Salary:  Upon application - Depending on experience

Job description:  The successful candidate will be jointly responsible for a growing portfolio of approximately 150 managed properties and will work well in a very strong team for an independent Estate Agents in Belsize Park, NW3.

 

Skills:

Confident in liaising with Tenants, Landlords and contractors, face to face and over the phone

Ability to work under pressure

Fantastic organisation skills

Show excellent communication between departments, ie the other Property Manager, the Lettings Manager and the Lettings negotiators

Excellent accounts experience a must.  You will be responsible for paying rents to landlords, invoicing clients, paying contractors, daily bank reconciliation, releasing deposits, quarterly tax returns etc.

Property Management experience a must

Must have a proactive and self-motivated approach

An excellent ability to prioritise workload efficiently

Must be trustworthy, confident and well presented

Excellent IT skills

 

Role:

Dealing with day to day issues on the growing portfolio including day to day maintenance issues, ensuring urgent issues are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner

Health and safety legislation and compliance monitoring

Deposit returns

Deposit disputes

Preparing disputes for arbitration with TDS

Carrying out property inspections

Liaising with Landlords and Tenants to ensure works get approved, following up to ensure works are completed and reporting back to client

Liaising with block management companies to make sure service charges are received and paid and any communal issues are addressed

 

The position is based in our office in Belsize Park and the hours will be 9am to 6pm with a Saturday rotation system working approximately 1 Saturday a month (a half day off is given in return in the following week)
